Where is AMC LOCATED?
AMC is located at 11 Angola Close Ringway , Osu, opposite the Police Headquarters.
Is parking available?
Free parking is available. Parking lots are monitored by AMC security.
What should I expect when I visit AMC?
Upon visiting AMC, a front desk staff will attend to you promptly by helping you to fill out a questionnaire /form if you are a new attendee or by pulling up your records for registered attendants, after which your vitals will be taken by the on-duty nurses. You will be ushered in to the consulting room to see the attending physician within the shortest possible time.
What Services are available and do I have to book an appointment?
General Practice and Family Physicians services cater for both scheduled appointments and walk-ins on a daily basis at 24hours.
We currently have a wide array of Specialist clinics. All our Consultants are duly registered and licensed with the appropriate licensing bodies and have many years of clinical experience.
All Specialist clinics are by appointment and this is to ensure that clients are thoroughly attended to within the allotted consultation times.
Each Consultant has a specified day and time and this will be communicated to the client at the time of booking an appointment. Arrangements will be made for a client to be attended to outside of these stipulated hours, if the condition is deemed to be an emergency.

Can I smoke at AMC?
No. AMC’S Clean Air Policy provides a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and employees, free of smoke. Smoking at the entrance to the hospital is prohibited.
Who do I call if I have a question about my care?
Communication is a vital part of health care. We encourage questions regarding the patient’s plan of care and treatment. You can call the HOTLINES or send a message via WhatsApp to the listed numbers
If you have questions regarding patient care, ask ANY of your AMC caregivers to put you in touch with the person who can best answer your questions or call the front desk executive
To contact a physician, please contact your AMC FRONT DESK EXECUTIVE who will arrange a call or meeting as needed. Urgent specialist appointments will be arranged by the attending physicians or through the front desk executive
Can I use my cell phone in the hospital?
Yes, cell phone use is allowed in specified areas of the hospital. Phones must, however, be placed on silent mode. The use of cell phones is prohibited within the consulting rooms.
Is wireless available?
Yes, wireless access is available at AMC. The guest network does require a login name and password, which can be requested for from Front Desk. Inappropriate websites are filtered or blocked via this network.
How do I obtain a copy of my medical records?
Contact our front desk executive who will help facilitate this request following directives from the attending physician.
Who do I contact if I have a question about my bill?
Contact the Billing and Accounts Department.
When will the new Facility and additional services be available?
- The new 45-Bed hospital facility will be available from September 2020
- A wide range of surgical and theatre services will be offered in this new facility
- Services will be accessible 24-7 including Emergency, Ambulance, Admissions and Radiology.
